We are so excited to welcome you as a presenter at the 2022 ICEC! Below you will find all of the information you will need on preparing and submitting your presentation as well as CME/CEU requirements for speakers.
All oral abstract sessions will have 5 abstracts assigned to them for presentation. The presentations will be given in the order of their abstract numbers, for example, from 1A-1 to 1A-5. Each presenter will be allotted 12 minutes to give his/her presentation and 3 minutes for audience questions. The session moderator will introduce each speaker and keep the session on time. After all 5 presentations in the session have concluded, the remaining 10-15 minutes will be used for a general Q&A session for all presenters. The moderator will facilitate this panel-wide Q&A.
When you are presenting, please make every effort to use the provided microphone, even if there is a small audience in your room. Please see this great article on why you should always use the microphone, even if it seems like the audience is small enough that you need not use it!
We hope you are excited to attend the conference and present in College Park, Maryland! We encourage you to download the "I'm Presenting" digital badge to the right (once it is available) and use it in email, on your website, on social media, etc. to let your colleagues know that you will be presenting at ICEC.
